Akayzia is a London based indie pop group, who write and perform poignant tales of modern city life. The band is fronted by Akayzia Parker.

The bands artfully delivered songs are hard to pigeonhole as they are influenced by many musical genres, more notably Rock, Folk and Blues of which the later is heavily evident in the vocal performances.Akayzia spent her childhood summers travelling to music festivals in the UK and around Europe with her large close knit family.

The band was formed at tec music school last year when drummer Tobias Humble bumped into akayzia at the drinks machine. Tobias was born in New York and grew up in Cumbria. Tobias started drumming aged 5 and begun gigging with his first band at 13. Tobias also provides backing vocals for the band and experiments with different forms of percussion.

Adam East plays guitar, studies guitar and lives guitar! This Watford based musician has been playing guitar for 10 years and works part-time in a music shop.

Emmanuel Folorunso is the newest member plays bass and lives with his family in south east London, he honed his skills playing gospel music at his church.
